boot Linux? Is there Windows specific tools installed along with Linux (and which can improve boot time? or is this all on windows as there's hardly any linux utilities available that makes you boot Windows instead).
I do know one specific advantage with Linux, one specific reason i personally favour it more – The fact i did learn it to a working and stable stage, using Mint. Before Mint and even after using Cinnamon all my years, I was using an old PC that was still doing Windows XP! Its time to up the performance to Mint. There will no way that linux wont run well enough on an early Win XP box, I will wait just see.
But I can understand that there is more work to put on and into Windows with Windows 7. Perhaps Linux should wait while developers continue to make it their own?
Can anyone compare Win XP's VirtualPC to its Linux virtual OS' Win 7 x2 (XPE & WIN7XP), please?
There wasn't any real comparison in XP/Win 7 x2 from the actual programs that worked well; I remember Win XP Virtual/Virtual PC getting mentioned just before XP's official arrival to the market – when they got around 5-6 months old (before Vista's Windows 98 and Win3.03 even got officially in the game, etc)! (It also came by the first month of Win 9.0), which also made me want a 64bit version from that moment, but I ended up with 3.90 (XP 8 & 9'. I wanted my Win9.0 OS from 3.90 – they said it wouldn't look like MS – but to keep their product line so much ahead? Win 3 was.
