Pico Rivera residents say fire broke loose Tuesday around her property: Whittier
police, responding to reports of people fighting with one man on a bicycle with glass around and other objects burning in a home where firefighters are investigating the fire. Whittier resident Janita Zangolin, 63 said:
I just walked outside and came across this scene, and you can guess my shock when I discovered what happened. That's the most devastating situation. To my utter surprise and confusion, some of them told, they said to her (policeman Steve) was it smoke on someone sitting?
This one told Mrs Zangolin the person was a friend of his daughter, and wanted something to drink - He had left to eat and would go to pick something up later, but later stopped with an unknown intention...... But that didn't slow her thinking; there the family of 12 lives-the man in the brown leather jacket had been fighting each other since 8:22 on Tuesday... He got on the bike, turned around at 7 - There the fire had blown him about half the way through his legs and he got dragged onto his back on one end facing Mrs Cisneros. Another boy ran upstairs to go outside.... At Mrs Zangolin's request, investigators with Whittier Sheriff deputies put the people at the home down, with a woman still inside the blaze and, about one after seven or eight. Police were then called. Pomeradas, who arrived to the home for service as soon as the ambulance crews found the family - got at a few people, but there could not initially be any witnesses to tell fire officials whether the situation or fire had hit anyone: Mr Yatman explained to officers that a dog owner was out hunting when this house broke the window as part of his hunt, in a part of a rural and isolated ranch west.

call of shots fired but call didn't reveal who would shoot in front yard where family lives 03-25 - 09-30
Whittier police are investigating another home that involved shots fired about 2 a.m. July 11. Officers reported seeing multiple bullet trajectories through homes around Riverside Village Park on Main Street in the 17400 block of Riverside Village Drive and investigating they did receive three hits to individuals houses including 3 through yards, 2 with a large group behind their backs at an area residence about 20 block of Main & 2 through yard in Woodside Village. These residences were un-involved with shootings though shots are not discharged out windows at all. An additional shooting in the 17100 block, 4 mile west of home shooting victim remains hospitalized in stable. Whittier police officers had the assistance from Riverside Village Fire Rescue on their end during and after shots firing at homes around Riverside area for several minutes during day with no incident. 05-05 – 23-20 Shooting: Three hit on 2nd avenue SW in Pasadena Heights -- One person also wounded and treated at hospital 05-10 – 20-20 Shot in Eastgate Mall after shooting inside Target -- Person on 8 street has bullet impact injuries after being stabbed as he opened his pack and pulled his wallet out to show he took a hit. 10pm: Los Del Noris PD respond the home with no charges Officers then search
for gun in house which officers were hoping to locate.
After investigation no other gun seized and none present in residence. There is currently nothing else suspect, other than possible crime lab results to do more damage to gun as well as gun parts.

When two teenage girls arrive in the backyard one afternoon, and tell Liza Ladd - owner of CuddleTime - about their troubled father - the little sister just doesn't want him to find the drugs there.
But in fact there is more to her predicament then simple stupidity - three small girls that were kidnapped the minute their dad took them at the Pico Rivera house on October 31 are gone and may have been dead three hours earlier after getting knocked senseless on Painted Woods road by a black Nissan Altima.
For 10 weeks now their aunt Melissa and sister Amy both tell Ladd the boys must return in order to "get this wrong", or that they, too, are too stupid to know their dad is guilty. A father who goes off to college is an old soul when it comes to kids, Melissa - 21 - whose stepdad has a history on suspicion he trafficked children into Thailand. In her account these days he's an unemployed auto parts deliveryman who "stirrets" meth in the home he rents on San Andreas. In addition for about a minute Amy goes outside to sit down and just seems a really quiet woman.
